LOXXX Application Deadline
Twenty-eight exceptional professionals were recently accepted into the LOXXX Cornerstone program under the early selection process. There's still time to nominate an outstanding individual to participate.

The standard application deadline is June 15.
LO Alumni Making News
LO27 President to Receive Unsung Hero Award
Clarence Dass, LOXXVII, Founder of The Dass Law Firm is the recipient of the 2019 Unsung Hero Award by the State Bar of Michigan.

The award is given annually to an attorney who has exhibited the highest standards of practice and commitment for the benefit of others. Clarence is being recognized for his commitment to the pursuit of justice for his clients and community while secretly battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer.
LO26 Alumna Achieves Two Notable Distinctions
Dr. Anita Hicks, LOXXVI , Associate Director of the Oakland Center, became the first doctoral graduate from Oakland University's School of Education and Human Services with a degree in organizational leadership . She also was named a 2019 Woman of Excellence by the Michigan Chronicle.

LO27 Grad's Dedication to Fostering Children
Sarah Sporny, LOXXVII , Director of Clinical Services & Quality Management for Community Housing Network , was featured in a recent Detroit News article on Michigan's need for more foster mothers and fathers.
