Working Groups Finalize Goals,
Create Set of Draft Policies and Actions
Thank you for coming last week! At the working group meeting last Thursday, participants made their final edits to the draft goals and then dove into working on the draft policies and actions that they had written over the past month.
What will happen to the draft goals?
The revised draft goals will be reviewed by Community Advisory Committee a final time. They will then be brought back to the larger community at our next big community event in early December. The version of the goals that appear on the Topic Areas web page are the most recent version and reflect the changes that working groups made to them at this past meeting.

What will happen to the draft policies and actions?
The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) members will coordinate with their Technical Advisory Committee members to ensure the draft policies are written correctly and are consistent with existing plans and policies. There is still lots of work to be done on the draft policies and actions to make sure they reflect neighborhood priorities. Working group participation over this next month is encouraged.

How do I help edit the draft policies and actions?
There is not a formal homework assignment like there was in August, but there are lots of ways for working group members to keep editing the their group's draft policies and actions. The best way to get involved is to reach out directly to the CAC member responsible for the goals you are interested in. If you do not know how to get in touch with your CAC member or joined a new group at the last meeting, please contact us so we can put you in touch.
