Bat Mitzvah of Zoe Hamilton
August 19 & 20, 2016
The Hamilton family would like to invite the entire congregation to delight in the simcha of their daughter Zoe becoming bat mitzvah. Zoe is the daughter of Neil and Andi Hamilton; the granddaughter of Silona Reyman & Tony Valim, Stevan & Mary Kay Grosvald, Claude Hamilton (OBM) & Mary Hamilton (OBM); and the sister of JR and Grace Hamilton.
Zoe is in the 7th grade at Longfellow Middle School where she enjoys playing viola, guitar, and ukulele as well as singing. She plays softball and basketball recreationally. She has done extracurricular speech/drama competitions. She also enjoys drawing and painting. One of her favorite activities is playing with her dogs, Oliver and Splash. Zoe has done volunteer work in Norman with her Girl Scout troop and in OKC with her TBI class. This summer, she helped walk dogs and clean cages at Second Chance Animal Sanctuary, a no-kill animal shelter. "Mazel Tov!" |

Confident that dance will dissolve political and cultural differences, celebrated ballroom dancer Pierre Dulaine returns to his hometown of Jaffa, Israel, after years abroad and teaches 11-year-old Jewish and Palestinian Israelis to dance together.
The mission of the Jewish/Muslim Film Institute
is to bring diverse groups together to share films that will inspire dialogue and help Jews, Muslims and everyone realize that we are more alike than different.

Andrea Armstrong Bat Mitzvah
August 26 & 27, 2016
Everyone is invited to share in the celebration as Andrea Armstrong becomes bat mitzvah. Andrea is in 8th grade at Alcott Middle School in Norman where she enjoys playing the clarinet, reading and drawing.
She is the daughter of Susan Fishman-Armstrong and Andy Armstrong; and the grandaughter of Morris and Joyce Fishman and Joe & Threse Armstrong. Andrea volunteers at Serve Moore, an organization that connects people who need help with people who can give help and at Loveworks Leadership, Inc., an organization that helps students discover their potential and live their dreams.
Our Temple family wishes Andrea and her family a hearty, "Mazel Tov!"
