2021 What's Poppin' Volume 4

The Fall Product Sale is progressing very well. Thank you to all the units participating in this year's sale. Many units began Show & Sell with some uncertainty but have been diligently working towards their goal with great success. All units should be checking the progress of your unit’s Take Orders. The success of Take Order is equally as important as Show & Sell. Remember that while this fundraiser benefits your unit, it also provides support to the PA Dutch Council to implement programs for your Scouts and to maintain two council camps and the Council Service Center for your use.

KEY DATES

Friday; October 1, 2021 – Final Show & Sell Reorder

Sunday; October 17, 2021 – Show & Sell product return at the Sears Auto Center building

No returns will be accepted after October 17^th

A Sign Up Genius link will soon be emailed to schedule your return time.

Tuesday; October 19, 2021 – Take Order deadline

Monday, October 25, 2021 through Friday, October 29. 2021 – Show & Sell payments due at Council office

Show & Sell payments will be accepted during returns on October 17^th

Week of November 8, 2021 – Take Order delivery, sorting, and distribution

Friday, November 19, 2021 – Take Order Payments due at Council office.

Lend a Helping Hand

Do you have extra popcorn or nuts and would be able to facilitate a transfer with another unit? If so, please email Myrna.Walker@Scouting.org and Robin.Kotzmoyer@Scouting.org with the product and quantity you can return, so we have your information when a unit requests more Show & Sell product.

Remember: All unit to unit transfer forms must be turned into the Council office or emailed to Myrna.Walker@Scouting.org and Robin.Kotzmoyer@Scouting.org. Deadline to submit transfer forms – Friday, October 15, 2021.

You have a chance to earn $250.00 of FREE POPCORN for your unit. Show & Sell unit participants will receive a survey form.

We will be looking for the following information:

Did your unit have a unique Show & Sell sale? Something outside of the box.
What are your units plans for the remaining three weeks of Show & Sell?
What product do you anticipate your unit will need to return?
Where have you been selling your popcorn and nuts?

TAKE ORDER DEADLINE

Time is flying by!

The Take Order deadline is just around the corner.

Popcorn Take Orders must be entered in the Pecatonica River Popcorn system and Whitley's Nut Take Orders must be entered using the Take Order button on the Council website.

The deadline is Midnight Tuesday, October 19th.

Take Order Ordering options will be available after October 7th.
