NCWWI Innovations Exchanges
Leadership & Supervision July 21

Attention child welfare leaders (supervisors, managers, directors & administrators)! The COVID-19 pandemic caused child welfare programs to quickly change how we provide services to families and support the workforce. We are hosting a monthly forum to exchange information about the best and promising practices you've developed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Child Welfare Workforce Development Month

We hope you will join us in celebrating throughout September!

For agencies, it's a time to focus on how to better support and recognize your most important asset - the workforce.

For child welfare professionals, it's an opportunity to get refocused on the heart work. This is about remembering why you do this challenging work; learning new skills that will improve your impact and resilience; and finding ways to lift and support those around you.

This year Child Welfare Worker Appreciation Week is September 14-18, 2020. Join co-hosts NCWWI and the Children’s Bureau for a one-hour virtual recognition event on September 15 at 3:00 p.m. EDT . It's an opportunity to get inspired and refocused on the heart work. Hear from child welfare leaders and service recipients expressing their appreciation for how you've adjusted your practice to serve families and children under such unprecedented and challenging conditions.
