Villa Colombo Toronto has recently implemented the ConnectingOntario ClinicalViewer to provide our staff with a comprehensive view of each resident’s journey through the health care system. This web-based portal will provide real-time access to digital health records including laboratory results, hospital visits, mental health care information and more, to improve our workflow, efficiency and help us make faster, better-informed care decisions.

Villa Colombo Vaughan Highlights in February
On February 5, the residents at Villa Colombo Vaughan celebrated Chinese New Year with an afternoon of traditional Chinese music, tea and spring rolls. The residents watched a presentation about China and learned the history behind some traditions of Chinese New Year. On February 19, the residents are invited to attend our Prom Social, where we will be serving champagne, cake, enjoying karaoke performances and crowning our Prom King and Queen.

Throwback to the Villa Charities Foundation Pizza and Wine Night
The Villa Charities Foundation Young Leaders Committee partnered with Hero Certified Pizza to host the Villa Charities Foundation Pizza and Wine Night. The guests were invited to become pizzaiolos and enjoyed an evening of inventing their own pizza creations. Proceeds from this fun and delicious event were in support of the seniors in our long-term care facilities.
