Tomorrow is the final day to apply for the 2025 Villa Charities Young Artist Grant! Three grants of $5,000 each will be awarded to emerging artists to support their creative projects in literature, music, and film. The objective of the Young Artist Grant is to provide financial support to emerging artists who are either of Italian heritage, or who are developing projects that are inspired by and reflect the essence of Italian culture. Experience the spirit of autumn through the rich sounds of the award-winning Columbus Concert Band on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30pm. Villa Charities is proud to continue the Italian Immersion Toddler Program this fall in partnership with Leonardo Da Vinci Academy. Designed for children aged 1 to 3, this fun-filled program introduces Italian language and culture through play, songs and engaging activities led by an experienced Italian instructor. Sessions run until December 8 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays from 9:00–10:00am at the Columbus Centre. A parent or guardian must accompany each child.

The sixth year of the Villa Charities Scholarship Program received an overwhelming response, with more than 600 applications submitted. We recently announced the 10 recipients for 2025, who have shown outstanding dedication to their studies and a strong commitment to community impact, reflecting Villa Charities’ mission. Since its launch in 2020, the program has awarded $287,000 in scholarships to students across Canada. This year’s recipients join that growing community of scholars, and we congratulate them as they continue their academic and professional journeys.

We are incredibly grateful to Maranello BMW for their generous donation of $8,500, raised through the Maranello BMW Golf Tournament held in June 2025. On Tuesday, September 16, Villa Charities President and CEO, Marco DeVuono joined Remo and Susan Ferri-Zampini along with the Maranello BMW team for the cheque presentation at the dealership. Also in attendance was Elena Pampaloni, one of the graduate student recipients of the 2025 Villa Charities Scholarship Program, whose scholarship is directly supported by this generous contribution.
