You're Invited to the Villa Charities Porte Aperte event on September 23
We’re opening our doors and welcoming the community to join us for a fun-filled day of activities and special events for all ages at our open house. Come and explore the Villa Charities campus and our selection of programs and services. Enjoy activities such as a virtual soccer challenge, rock climbing, a bouncy castle, an Italian music performance, basketball, bingo, an interactive dance demonstration, face painting and more. Plus, there will be food trucks and wood-fired pizza! We hope you will join us on Sunday, September 23 from 1-5pm at the Columbus Centre. 

New Registration Options Now Available for the Villa Charities Golf Classic
The Villa Charities Golf Classic is back with a new course, great food and a cause we can all be proud to support. New this year, we are offering both Classic & Corporate Foursome registration options which include an official participation gift, complimentary food and beverages and much more! Don’t miss the 42nd Annual Villa Charities Golf Classic on Wednesday, September 26 at Eagles Nest Golf Club in support of Villa Colombo Toronto.

Visioning Project Continues with Community Sessions
Villa Charities continued its series of campus visioning sessions with the first of the two planned visioning sessions for the local community held last night, with excellent participation from a broad range of customers, visitors and community members. The second community session is scheduled for tonight at 6:30pm at the Columbus Centre. We encourage all our stakeholders to share the Visioning Project information and to get involved in this process.

Tickets go on sale Monday, September 17 at 10am for our world premiere production of “If on a Christmas Night…” at the Columbus Centre from December 4 – 23, 2018. This immersive Christmas experience presents a series of adventurous and comical situations around the celebration of Christmas, through the lens of Italian and Italian-Canadian culture. Explore The Life and Works of Michelangelo at Cultural Tuesdays
Don’t miss the next installment of our Cultural Tuesdays at the Columbus Centre series on Michelangelo Buonarroti on Tuesday, September 18 at 7pm, as Renaissance Studies professor Sarah Rolfe Prodan examines Michelangelo’s two major Roman projects for Pope Julius II and his life during this period: his funerary monument and the famous Sistine Chapel ceiling frescoes.
