Presentations on Fashion and Art Continue in Cultural Tuesdays Series
Our latest free Cultural Tuesdays series continues at the Columbus Centre. Dr. Sebastiano Bazzichetto returns to present the third lecture, “An 18th Century Continental Affair: Italian Fashion Conquers Europe” on October 29 at 7pm and the final lecture of the series, “After 1861: The Modern System of Italian Fashion” on November 5 at 7pm.

Make Traditional Italian Recipes in our Culinary Workshops
In partnership with Cucinato Italian Culinary Studio, join us for our interactive culinary workshops and make your own Italian favourites. Register for the next workshop on Wednesday, October 30, where we will be cooking Gnocchi Fatti in Casa / Homemade Gnocchi. Craft Your Own Impressionist Painting in New Workshop
Our paint night workshops are an excellent option for those looking to try their hand at impressionist painting. Villa Charities cordially invites you to attend the Opening Night Reception for our new exhibition at the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery at the Columbus Centre. Residents Celebrate Thanksgiving at Casa Del Zotto
On Thursday, October 10, our Independent Seniors’ Apartments hosted a special Thanksgiving lunch for the residents. Organized by Centro Anziani, residents at Casa Del Zotto were treated to a delicious meal and enjoyed listening to Italian-themed music.

Leonardo Da Vinci Academy Coming to the Columbus Centre September 2020
Villa Charities is excited to welcome the Leonardo Da Vinci Academy (LDVA) featuring Casa Montessori Preschool and Scuola Materna Leonardo Da Vinci to the Columbus Centre next September. Scuola Materna is the only Italian Immersion preschool in Canada recognized by Italy. LDVA will occupy the first floor and part of the second floor of the building and will have dedicated use of a gymnasium and playgrounds for their students.
