State of the Broadway District

On Broadway, Inc. will be hosting its annual State of the Broadway District presented by American National Bank on February 22 at 8 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
There will be exciting announcements regarding the Public Market, the Shipyard, Railyard, Broadway District vision, volunteer recognition awards, and more.
The event will be a hybrid with the option to attend in person or virtually. The in-person program will be hosted at Gather, 139 N Broadway. A buffet breakfast will be available for in person attendants.
Registration is required and a link to the live stream will be sent out to all registered participants prior to the event day.

Brett Favre Collection at New Art Gallery
|
Dg Clearing, a new fine art gallery at 1270 Main St., opened on Tuesday, showcasing 23 paintings commissioned by the one and only Brett Favre. The gallery includes the 421 series, commemorating his 421 touchdown passes, a painting acknowledging his 3,000 passing yards, and other pieces highlighting his career. The painter, James Hartel, is well known in the art world as he's done commissions for Reggie White, Fleetwood Mac, Ariana Grande, and more.

Call for Artists: Mural & Busker Festival

On Broadway, Inc. is excited to announce their 2nd annual Mural & Busker Festival, presented by Fox Communities Credit Union, this June 16-19. The event created 10 new murals in the Broadway District in 2021 and filled the streets with buskers. The search is currently underway for talented individuals looking to take part in this year's event. Please fill out an application and submit artwork by March 11 if you're interested.

Applications for Farmers' Market on Broadway still open

Vendor, non-profit, and entertainment applications for the 19th annual Farmers' Market on Broadway are still open for the 2022 season. The Farmers' Market on Broadway runs May 25 - September 28 in 2022 from 3-8 p.m. Hours reduce to 3-7 p.m. after Labor Day. The deadline to apply to be a vendor is February 27.

Mark your calendars for the Broadway Eggstravaganza
|
Come on down to the Broadway District to spend the morning on an epic Easter egg hunt. Eggs will be hidden outside throughout the district. Inside you'll find treats and coupons to use at Broadway businesses. You may even luck out and find an egg with a golden ticket for a larger prize. A big friendly bunny may make an appearance as well. The event is free to attend!

Flower shop kitty catches eye of the press
|
Pippa Pepper, the itty bitty flower shop kitty, has started to gain attention on social media and in the press. The cat has her own business card and enjoys the sunshine in her sing chair inside Petal Pushers. The feline has more than 5,000 followers on Facebook. She recently made an article in the Green Bay Press Gazette that claims fans who follow her from other states have stopped in specifically meet her.

New Leaf Foods announces launch party for Give Big Green Bay
|
New Leaf Foods, Inc. is excited to be apart of this year's Give Big Green Bay event. They're hosting a kick off event at the Botanical Gardens on February 23 from noon to 4 p.m. They will be sorting seeds to give away to garden box recipients. New Leaf Foods, Inc. is hoping to raise money during Give Big Green Bay for their New Leaf Garden Blitz, New Leaf Urban Food Forest project, and the New Food Forum Project.
