Season of Swellness

Celebrate O'side's best flavors by taking a bite out of the 'Season of Swellness' with the Swell Plates Series presented by Visit Oceanside. Grab a Swell Plates Passport from the California Welcome Center or any participating restaurants; you may also use the mobile app to guide you. Order the featured "Swell Plate" to get a stamp. Some participating businesses include Wrench and Rodent, the Piper, Mangia e Bevi, The Lighthouse, Matsu, the Plot, Privateer, and more! Once you have three or more stamps, drop off your passport to any participating location or the California Welcome Center Oceanside to be entered to win a grand prize drawing that includes an overnight stay in Oceanside and a dining credit.

Stand Up For LA!

February 6, The Brooks Theater

TONIGHT, the Oceanside Theatre Company welcomes you to a night of laughter for an amazing cause. Starting at 8 pm, they will be welcoming some of LA's best stand-up comedians like Brendan Fitzgibbons (Comedy Central) and Ryan Conner (Last Comic Standing) to the stage to help the LA fire relief efforts. This show features a mix of comedians from Comedy Central, The Onion, Netflix, Hulu, and Late Night with Stephen Colbert. Proceeds from the show will go to benefit the LA Legions Worker Relief Fund. Come laugh for an admirable cause!

Candlelight :The Best of Bridgerton on Strings

He Hawai'i Mau: Being Hawaiian Wherever We Are

February 9, The Brooks Theater

The Oceanside Theatre Company invites you to join them from 2 pm to 5 pm this Saturday for an enriching evening celebrating the experiences of Native Hawaiians living in diaspora. Celebrate Native Hawaiian culture through a panel on cultural roots, 'aina' (land), and identity, along with special music and hula performances. This heartfelt event will include discussion on topics including cultural preservation, evolving identity across generations, and cultural performances by local organizations that reflect the enduring spirit of Hawaiian culture.

OMA Presents:Teeny Tiny Art Mart

February 9-March 2, Oceanside Museum of Art

Oceanside Museum of Art is back with their fifth annual Teeny Tiny Art Mart! Join the Teeny Tiny creation craze for a great cause. With over 1,510 items from over 579 different amazing artists, there is sure to be something for everyone. Each piece is 5X5 and sold at $25. These artworks are unsigned, so you don't know whose masterpiece you have purchased. All teeny tiny artworks can be purchased online through the OMA website. These artworks are visible in the museum and online. 100% of the proceeds go to the OMA educational initiatives that provide thousands of students annually with transformative arts-based experiences.

Thornton Wilder's "Our Town"

February 14-23, The Star Theatre

The Star Theatre invites you to witness "the greatest American play ever written. This is "Our Town" as Thornton Wilder wished it to be performed. This play depicts the small town of Grover's Corner in three acts: "Daily Life", "Love and Marriage", and "Death and Eternity." The audience is immersed in the daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families along with the progression of their children's lives. Watch as each stage progresses, from falling in love, marriage, and eventually, in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre, death. Do not miss this amazing revival of an American Theatre classic. Showing from February 14-23.

Valentine's Movie at the Pier

The City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation invites the public to enjoy the beautiful view, vibes, and a great movie for free this Valentine's Day from 5 pm until 8 pm. Nestled right next to the Oceanside Pier, get cozy in the amphitheater with your valentine this year. They will be showing the movie WALL-E. This event is open to all ages. The event will start with crafts, music, and vendors for food and dessert. Attendees are encouraged to dress warm and bring a chair if they wish to sit near the screen. The movie will start at 5:30 pm.

Oceanside International Film Festival

February 18-22, The Brooks Theater

The 14th Annual International Film Festival has arrived! The Oceanside Theatre Company and the OIFF proudly present five whole days of cinema, art, and community right in the middle of one of California's 14 designated cultural districts. They will be kicking off with the film "Cigarette Surfboard." This event will feature discussion panels of filmmakers, directors, and actors alike, touching on topics of the environment, acceptance, individuality, and surf. Cosplay Anime Pop-Up

February 22, Oceanside Civic Center Courtyard

The Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation and Socal Kpop Anime Fest invite you to the first Cosplay Anime Pop-Up at the Civic Center Courtyard in Oceanside! This event will feature Kpop, pop, and jpop music as well as anime and Kpop fan art, cosplay and art attractions.
