Celebrating With Thanksgiving
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
(Col. 3:17)

This past Sunday we had the joy and privilege of celebrating the ministry of Keith and Sarah Hill here at St. Giles. Thank you to all who contributed towards such a wonderful send off as Keith enters retirement. We give thanks to God for the many wonderful and faithful years Keith and Sarah have given to not only St. Giles, but to Christ’s Church. As the family of St. Giles, let us be committed to continue praying for the Hills as they seek the Lord on what the next chapter of faithfulness will look like.

To the glory of Jesus Christ, we give thanks!
Youth & Adult Service Project
At Elijah House
On Saturday, July 31st, the youth group and all who would like to help will be doing a service project at Elijah House Academy from 9-12. We will be doing outdoor service work such as raking and trimming bushes. There will be lunch afterwards on the grounds. This is an event open for anyone who would like to bless Elijah House and/or participate with the youth group. If you are interested in participating, please text Taylor Greene at 804-467-2159.
Update on the Capital Campaign
The Campaign included two chillers. One of which has been installed in the Church House. The other (for the Sanctuary) to be ordered in the near future. The organ, although not quite complete, is also in service and set for completion in August. Stay tuned for news about the dedication this fall to be followed by a concert series.
Now is the time! Final payments are due on the organ in August. If you made a pledge please try to complete your 3 year pledge as soon as possible. If you have questions with regards to your pledge or would like to make a contribution please contact Susan Andrews or Patience Flynn.
Free Books from Keith's Library
Keith is moving into a smaller space at home, which meant that he has much less room for books. So he is giving away about a third of his library. These books are now displayed in the Library, on three white shelves in the center. While most are marked up, they are legible, and may be of use to you or someone you know. Enjoy!
