Water Slides & Food Trucks This Week!
We are having a special Food Truck Night this week! In addition to food trucks this Wednesday will be “Water Play” night. We will have a water slide plus other fun water activities available for the children. Bring them in swim suits and a towel to dry off. Click here for this summer's truck schedule.
Free Books from Keith's Library
Keith is moving into a smaller space at home, which meant that he has much less room for books. So he is giving away about a third of his library. These books are now displayed in the Library, on three white shelves in the center. While most are marked up, they are legible, and may be of use to you or someone you know. Enjoy!
Adult Discipleship
Sunday Morning Classes
We are back in person for Sunday School during the month of July. There will be several folks facilitating a class on the book of 1st Peter (Rob Green, Jo White, Ross Anderson and Walter Varvel). We will begin at 9:15 and will conclude in plenty of time for us to make it to church at 10:30. And did we mention that there will be donuts?
Second Half Men's Ministry
Our Senior Men’s Ministry, Second Half, is meeting in person again! We meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday in Patterson. This ministry is now in its 19th year and has been meeting via Zoom for the last 15 months. All senior men are welcome. We have 60 men presently meeting in this ministry and it has been a wonderful fellowship and support for the needs of senior men. For questions please contact Gordon at 804-562-6576 or email

Youth & Adult Service Project At Elijah House
On Saturday, July 31st, the youth group and all who would like to help will be doing a service project at Elijah House Academy from 9-12. We will be doing outdoor service work such as raking and trimming bushes. There will be lunch afterwards on the grounds. This is an event open for anyone who would like to bless Elijah House and/or participate with the youth group. If you are interested in participating, please text Taylor Greene at 804-467-2159.
Child Care for Women's Bible Study
We would like to offer baby sitting for the Women’s Tuesday morning Bible Study this summer. However, we don’t want to engage sitters if there is not a need. Please let Patience Flynn know if this is something you are interested in. She will need to know the names and ages of your children plus any special needs they might have.
