Letter from the BOD President:
|
All members and friends,
Summer is just around the corner and we have a lot of exciting events coming up in May and beyond!
Our next Art in the Hall event kicks off next week. We will also be having auditions for our production of Disney's The Little Mermaid on May 21 and May 22 with call-backs on May 24. The River's Edge Chorale is busy rehearing for our annual Artist Appreciation Concert on June 14. We are still accepting registrations for our 27th annual Summer Drama Workshop program. We are also accepting nominations for the annual Artist Appreciation award.
Many of you know that the board has taken a "Grassroots" approach to the organization, so we currently have no paid office staff to support these programs. We need your help to support the many programs that are happening this summer. Please consider volunteering to support some of these events. For more information on how you can help, please see the Classifieds section below.
Don't forget to check out what some of our member organizations are doing this month!
If you have any questions, please drop us an e-mail at: bod@upwitharts.org.
Regards,
Lisa Schliker
