What's Up Woodbury: November 2 - 9, 2018
Reminders from City Hall

November 5th - The Public Works Office will be closed.  All other offices will be open at normal hours.There will be no yard debris pick up on this day; all trash pick ups remain the same.

November 12th - All municipal offices will be closed in observation of Veterans Day.  There will be no yard debris pick up. All trash pick ups remain the same.

November 22nd and 23rd -  All municipal offices will be closed in observation of Thanksgiving.  There will be no yard debris pick up. Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday's trash will be collected one day early. Friday's trash will remain the same.


Shred Event has been rescheduled to November 10th!

Important!

If you voted by mail in the 2016 Presidential Election, new law states you will continue to receive a Vote By Mail (VBM) ballot for every future election unless you complete an Opt Out form and return it to the County Clerks office. If you received a Vote By Mail ballot, you will NOT be permitted to vote on the voting machine on election day without a court order. 
If you are at your polling location on election day the poll worker informs you of this you will be asked to complete a Provisional Ballot.

Woodbury Veterans Day Observances

We are pleased to announce the following observances for Veterans Day in the City of Woodbury. Both Events will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
11 AM Observance at American Legion Post 133
The American Legion Post 133 will hold their annual Observance at 11 AM on the 11th day of the 11th month. The event will be held at the American Legion Post 133 on Washington Ave. A light lunch will be provided after the observance.
 
1 PM Observance at Rotary Park
A second Observance will be held at Rotary Park on East Barber Ave. sponsored by the Woodbury Rotary Club. The event will include tributes to veterans in the form of songs, speeches and ceremonies.


We cordially invite everyone from Woodbury and vicinity to  attend one or both events.  We encourage you to attend both because this is the day to thank
v eterans for their service.  We want the day to be memorable for the veterans who can attend.

The Presbyterian Church at Woodbury, 67 S. Broad St., will hold their one day Fall Rummage Sale on Sat., Nov. 3rd, from 9 AM to 2 PM.  Our $2.00 Bag Sale is from 1-2 PM .

Saturday November 3 rd  until

From November 5 th  to November 7 th  the road will be closed again between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm each day.
