2018 AUGUST RECAP
CANADA PLACES 3RD AT THE IWWF WORLD WATER SKI SHOW TOURNAMENT
The Canadian Water Ski Show Team placed 3rd at the Show Ski World Championships, Sept. 8-9, on Peninsula Lake at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada. The tournament featured teams from the Germany, Australia, Belgium, China and the United States.

2018 IWWF WORLD BAREFOOT WATER SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS RECAP
The World Barefoot Water Ski Championships took place on August 11-19, 2018 on Dream Lake in Napanee, Ontario. Athletes gathered at Dream Lake near Selby, Ont., all week to compete against the best barefoot water-skiers in the world. Prince Edward’s Becky Moynes Meyer won a bronze medal with a personal best jump of 13.7 Moynes-Meyer finished 5th overall.

CANADIANS DOMINATE AT THE 2018 WORLD WAKE SURF CHAMPIONSHIPS
Congratulations to the Canadian athletes who participated at the 2018 World Wake Surf Championships. Caro Villeneuve placed 2nd in the Pro Women’s Skim event and Evan Hudson was crowned 1st place in the Juniors division

CANADIAN ADAPTIVE ATHLETES WIN TITLES AT THE 2018 U.S. WSDA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2018 U.S. WSDA National Championships were held at Twin Oaks Lakes in Paducah, KY. The KY Lake Ski Nuts hosted this 25th Nationals. 
There were 26 competitors covering the seated, standing and visually impaired divisions. 
The Canadian group consisted of 5 competitors and 2 team leaders.
