STAY SAFE THIS LONG WEEKEND!
|
Summer weekends are the perfect time to enjoy being out on the water. Don’t let alcohol or drugs ruin your fun this weekend. Being impaired while boating is the same as being impaired while driving your vehicle in the eyes of the law.
Even if your boat meets the requirements to allow you to enjoy a few beverages while anchored or docked, if you have indulged and start driving your boat, you can be charged with impairment. Between fines, education, potential legal costs and insurance increases, the cost of being impaired while boating is too high to take the risk.
