Please share and participate in our survey! It's quick & easy. And you can win a $10 gift certificate to Frontside Coffee Roasters!

Don't remember what you read? We have a list of top titles below. Those are books and DVDs that were checked out the most in 2021 at the Pope Memorial Library. That list includes several titles that were older- maybe our "1 Book 1 Valley" author had something to do with it??

The survey includes a list of the most checked-out titles in the last year that were published in 2021. And that's what we would like to know from you: What are your favorite books published in 2021? Click here and do the quick survey and win $10 to Frontside Grind!

We will publish the results by the end of the month.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Library at Cranmore Meisters (Pay2Play) and at Black Cap Grille (Dine2Donate). It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces!

Hope you are having fun watching the Winter Olympics and the SuperBowl! Congrats to our former board member, Paula Sullivan Jones, whose niece, Jules Marino, won a silver medal in snowboarding. Wow!

Hope to see you soon-
Andrea

COOKBOOK CLUB
Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 11:30 am
The Pope Memorial Library has started a Cookbook Club!

The concept is simple: Borrow the selected cookbook of the month from the library. Make any recipes that interest you. At the end of the month, club members gather for a potluck feast of everyone’s favorite recipes and a discussion on what they did or did not like about the cookbook- all while enjoying creations from the book.

The group is set to meet on the third Wednesday of every other month. The first meeting will be held at the Library on Feb. 16, 2022, at 11:30 a.m.

Copies of the program’s first cookbook, “Salt Fat Acid Heat by Samin Nosrat, are available now. Cookbooks can be picked up at the library. FMI contact Haley.

Donations of Books & DVDs & CDs
We LOVE your donations! But to make things go smoothly, we implemented new guidelines for book donations. Such as only 1 BOX at a time, please. And the books have to be in excellent shape!

For more (important!) information, please check our detailed donation guidelines. Thanks!!
Please Keep Wearing Your Face Mask
Please keep our staff and the community safe:
wear a face mask!

Numerous studies show that face masks, especially medical-grade masks like KN95 and N95 masks, significantly reduce the spread of Covid,
which is why masks are still required in our building.

Wearing a mask is the right thing to do, especially when you are around vulnerable individuals and small children.
Tour the New Building
We still need your support: We need more furniture and a variety of other things that will make our new library feel comfortable and cozy.

So please be generous if you can. Any amount will make a difference whether it's $5 or $1,000.
Shop with Amazon Smile
Are you shopping on Amazon for your holiday gifts??
Then please select the Pope Memorial Library as your preferred nonprofit via smile.amazon.com and Amazon will donate 0.5% of eligible purchases directly to the library!
