What's Your Adventure?

Cub Scout Adventure Camp is Designed for new Tiger scouts as they Walk over a drawbridge and back into Medieval times at the Castle. As a “Good Knight” or princess, you will prepare yourself to participate in the royal Tournament. There you will test your strength, courage, and teamwork skills by designing your own Tiger Knight obstacle course.  View a video of Cub Scout Adventure Camp.
Scouts in the Outfield!
June 15 - FINAL DAYS FOR TICKETS

Join us for the Dave Cheney Memorial Scout Night at Frontier Field. Cheer on the Red Wings while you celebrate Scouting! After the game and fireworks, Scouts/families can pitch a tent in the outfield to stay the night and watch a movie on the jumbo screen! The game also features the Zooperstars! Don't forget with each ticket comes a commemorative Scout Patch!
Exploring 1st Responder Camp
July 18-Aug 2

Open CO-ED registration to anyone up to 21 years old, Exploring First Responder Camp is one of Babcock-Hovey’s Expedition Camps which are designed to refine your skills, challenge your limits, and helps Explorers develop a deeper understanding of the Emergency Services.
Eagle Flight
July 28-Aug 3

Spend the week at Camp Babcock-Hovey working towards your Eagle Scout rank! Eagle Flight Week is for Scouts serious about progressing along their Trail-to-Eagle. Eagle Flight is not a typical BSA summer camp program. Scouts will be very busy working on merit badges and other programs...and have an excessive amount of fun throughout the week which includes an i nspirational movie or talk, an ice cream social, a night hike, shooting sports or Scouting jeopardy.
Provisional Camping

A Provisional Scout is either a male or female Scout who wants to attend summer camp on their own. Not only will you have an opportunity to earn more merit badges, but you get to meet new Scouts and leaders. To register, just have a Scout leader or parent register at your favorite camp’s summer camp registration page listed here:.
The Ultimate Outdoor Experience

This 6-day program is the ultimate experience for Scouts who are Webelos or Arrow Light. You'll learn essential survival and pioneering skills that you can take with you to a Scouts-BSA troop. Your group will participate in outpost trips to some of the most beautiful areas of camp, build your own campsite, and help make the camp a better place with a conservation project. Arrow of Light will prepare you for Scouts-BSA by familiarizing you with the Scouts-BSA program.
Adventure & Comradery!

There is still space for you and your Scouts at Babcock-Hovey! Scouts spend their days in various merit badge classes and afternoon programs: hiking ravine trails, building robots, sailing on the mighty Seneca Lake, swimming in the 100,000 gallon pool, shooting on the ranges, building survival shelters, and learning Scout skills, while the evening brings more adventure and comradery around a campfire.
Remember Dad This Father's Day!

Father's Day is June 16th! The Strong Scout Shop has great gifts for Scout Dads. Choose anything from backpacks to sleeping bags or choose something from the wide selection of Leatherman multi-tools to make his day special!
Youth Protection Course

If, prior to March 1, 2019, you were taking the original Feb. 1, 2018 course on-line and haven't received credit for all three parts and the quiz, you will need to ‘start over’ and take the March 1, 2019 course. This will only effect a very small number of leaders. Of course, we highly recommend everyone to take the updated modules to be completely up to date on what is new in youth protection, but it will only be required once a leader hits the 2 year point.
