Do you know all of your coworkers? Chances are, probably not! With so many of us spread out across job sites, we wanted to make it a little easier to get to know each other. Look for an employee spotlight in every newsletter!
Chris Kallen

Chris, always with a smile on his face, is known as one of our most respected, professional guys who befriends everyone.

He spent 42 years in the VT Army National Guard, and spent 1 year in Iraq ('06-'07). He loves and excels at following process and orders. Chris and his family, including his Casella Construction family, are very proud of his service to our country.

May Good Catch Winner of the Month
[ From L to R: Todd Ross, Chris Delpha - Good Catch Winner,
Drew Dunlap, and Josh Corkins]
As one of our dump trucks passed our site in Bennington, Chris noticed that there was a rock stuck in the rear duals. Chris alerted the driver over the radio to let him know about the rock so it could be removed before continuing on. Great Catch!
Thank you, Chris!
Good Catch, Near Miss
Situational awareness and an eye for safety are the foundation of employee wellness at Casella Construction.

The Good Catch & Near Miss Program recognizes employees who take action to keep us all safe.
What's the difference?
A Good Catch is the recognition by an employee of a situation or condition that had the potential to become an incident but did not due to corrective action taken and/or prompt intervention.
A Near Miss is an event that’s been recognized in which no employee is injured, or property damage is sustained, but could have given a slight change in variables.

It is more important than ever to stay safe, both inside and outside of work, as this is the biggest risk to each of us, our families, and the company at this time. Please continue to be diligent about wearing masks, washing your hands frequently, and maintaining social distance by staying 6 feet apart whenever possible.

Thank you all for doing your part to keep yourself, your co-workers, and our customers safe and healthy as we navigate through this stage of the pandemic.
