Happy Birthday, Lisa!

(we ate up our Mac'N'Wings so fast, it missed the photo)

We took a bit of time over lunch on Friday to celebrate Lisa's special day and enjoyed some laughs with our extended Chamber Chix family.

Dale stopped in to join us. Not sure he'll ever be quite the same.

Her birthday was the 4th, so we'll probably be celebrating all week!

Farewell to Tiffany...

After spending the last 18 months with us, Tiffany Young has moved up (to Thunder Bay!) She's embarking on a brand new adventure with an event management company! We wish her the best and thanks to all who stopped by and sent their best wishes before she left. Two of our favourite City Staff partners - Joe and Chris, were the first to thank her for her efforts in 2023 with our record year of eight events! We couldn't have done it without her!

A few things below I don't want you to miss...

Breakfast with MP Ryan Williams

Wednesday, Feb 21

We're also kicking off a Lunch & Learn series. We've talked about it and during the pandemic, we hosted quite a few virtual sessions but we're finding topics that we know you want to hear more about.

Remember that email I sent out a couple of weeks ago - assuring you that we don't sell our membership list? BUT when are those kind of things real? What can you trust with your email and what are the risks if you fall for the scam? The "bait" is becoming increasingly tricky in these phishing schemes and our friends at Nesda are available to tell us what to watch for and how to protect ourselves.

Our first Lunch & Learn: Cybersecurity with Nesda

Friday, February 16 (this one is virtual)

We'll have something new each month - some will be in person and some will be virtual - please stay tuned! February is a bit special because CRA is coming as well.

PS - if you'd like a PDF of the directory, we'll give you one for free!

Nominations for the Cornerstone Awards are open now!

This is more than a business award. We're looking for people who are a visionary, founder, mentor or embody citizenship and then we tell the story of the person behind the business. These are the cornerstones to Lifetime Achievement and we're interested to know who you think we should recognize in 2024!
