What DIDN'T happen in Las Vegas, Happened in Atlanta!
On behalf of the Board of Directors of GAPPP, I want to thank you all for being a part of our LAS EXPO on February 9! It was because of each of you that this show was not only possible, but was a great success!
As our tradeshow committee began planning for this event, we were unsure if the State of GA would even allow for an in-person event to take place, due to COVID guidelines.
If GAPPP were allowed to produce our LAS EXPO show, it was imperative that we provide a safe and comfortable in-person event (attendees received a poll requesting feedback, and 100% of respondents said YES, they felt SAFE when asked about precautions and measures taken to ensure safety).
In anticipation that many suppliers and distributors would not feel comfortable exhibiting at or attending an in-person event, GAPPP added virtual component, making the show a βhybridβ.
By offering both, this could maximize participation by both Exhibitors and Distributors, and bring additional member value. I am proud of our tradeshow committee (and volunteers) for executing and pulling off a successful LAS EXPO!
The Las Vegas theme seemed logical, as the PPAI Expo has always been an important kickoff to our promotional year. Because in-person PPAI Expo did not happen, we wanted to bring something familiar (and important) to our members in GA! We hope you enjoyed the theme as much as we did!
We know 2021 may still have some challenges due to the pandemic, but we will do our best to continue to offer content-rich events, networking opportunities, and education in the safest way possible!
