Q1 Update
Warm Coats ~ Warm Hearts
This winter, UWGFR was the Community Partner for the Warm Coats Warm Hearts Drive in partnership with Burlington Stores, Delivering Good and Good Morning America to distribute coats to people in need.

United Way volunteers carefully sorted and distributed 450 coats (112 men’s, 223 women’s and 90 children's) among 12 local agencies, shelters and outreach organizations who delivered warmth to those most vulnerable during the months of November, December and January. UWGFR also facilitated a collection of 165 hats, mittens and scarves to complement the coats.
Looking for volunteers or volunteer opportunities? UWGFR partners with United Way of Greater New Bedford and United Way of Plymouth County to sponsor www.volunteersouthcoast.org . Share your opportunities here and encourage your volunteers to sign up online. This service is totally free to service agencies.
