The Winter 2026 Session of Drivers Ed at Roosevelt:
Class will meet January 26th – February 6th, 2025 from 3:20-6:20pm (Monday-Friday afternoons for two weeks) at Roosevelt High School. The cost is $145 with sliding fee options available. Behind the Wheel instruction is not included.
Registration Window: This class will be available for registration online between Monday, December 1st and Friday, December 12th. The class will appear “full”, but it is not! We are requiring everyone to join the waiting list first (which will require completed registration and payment information) and we will select 30 students at random once the registration window has closed. Students and parents/guardians will be notified via email if they have been selected the week of December 14th. The remaining students will stay on the waiting list and will be notified only if a spot becomes available.
Drop-In Registration Assistance: If you need help completing your online registration, you may email Maile Siemon at maile.siemon@mpls.k12.mn.us or drop by our office during the following days and times, and we can help get you signed up:

La sesión de educación vial para el invierno del 2026 en Roosevelt:
La clase se reunirá del 26 de enero al 6 de febrero de 3:20pm a 6:20pm (de lunes a viernes por la tarde durante dos semanas) en Roosevelt High School. El costo para esta clase es de $145 con opciones de tarifas variables disponibles. La clase que se llama “Detrás del Volante” no está incluida.

Cornerstone Thrift Store is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons and the 3rd Friday of the month. The Free Legal Clinic is open on Thursdays, 2:30 - 5:00pm and the 3rd Friday of the month. St. Mary's Clinic offers free healthcare services for the uninsured Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:45-4:35 PM at Park Ave Church. CCC has a couple of events coming up that we would like you to know about.
(SENIORS ONLY) FAFSA/MN Dream Act next Wednesday, November 19, 2026, from 6 pm -7:30 pm.
If you need help completing your financial aid application for college, please feel free to stop by. Register with the link here. Pizza will be available. If your parent needs help with their part, please feel free to bring them as well. Bring your laptop and your social security number.
Military Branch Speaker Panel next Friday, November 21st, during flex lunch (first 30 minutes)
If you are interested in the military, have questions, or want to learn more about what they do, please register with the link here. There will be light snacks provided. You will receive a confirmation email the day before with details.
Construct Tomorrow Field Trip on Wednesday, December 3rd
Permission slips can be found in the CCC starting on Monday. There will also be some with Ms. Jonna the GEAR UP Counselor. Please have it signed by a parent or guardian and give it back to Ms. Nicole or Ms. Kelly in the CCC room 207 or Ms. Jonna.
Trades/Medical Career Speaker Panel on Friday, December 12th, during flex lunch (first 30 mins)
If you are interested in the trades or medical field. We will have the following career speakers coming to the CCC. Career speakers: electrician, construction, Welding & Metal Fabrication, HVAC, Phlebotomy, Veterinary Technicians, and one more medical field) Register here if you’d like to come. There will be light snacks provided. You will receive a confirmation email.
