Good afternoon, Teddies,
This week my hope is that you are able to find time to disengage, enjoy time with family and friends, and do something that allows you to care for yourself.
We have had a strong start to the school year and this break offers us an opportunity to rest and replenish our collective batteries.
I am grateful to all of you, our families, for trusting us with your students. I am grateful for our students who continue to demand our best. I am grateful for the love and care our school community shows for one another.
Thank you, genuinely, for being here with us at Roosevelt.

Buenas tardes, Teddies,
Esta semana mi esperanza es que puedan encontrar tiempo para desconectarse, disfrutar del tiempo con familiares y amigos y hacer algo que les permita cuidar de si mismo.
Hemos tenido un buen comienzo de curso escolar y este descanso nos ofrece una oportunidad para descansar y reponer fuerzas colectivas.
Agradezco a todos ustedes, nuestras familias, por confiarnos a sus estudiantes. Estoy agradecido por nuestros estudiantes que continΓΊan exigiendo lo mejor de nosotros. Estoy agradecido por el amor y el cuidado que nuestra comunidad escolar muestra unos por otros.

Flyer Policy
This year we have noticed an increase in flyers being posted on the walls at Roosevelt. We are reminding our staff and students that all flyers must be submitted to the Main Office for approval.
We look at content, spelling, and relevance to educational purposes as MPS has policies regarding advertisement. Once approved we recommend the location of the flyers as well as the type of tape that is used - some tape will rip the paint off the wall.
Thank you for your help and understanding.
