DEBATE NEWS!!

Coaches Joey Salzer, Nick Oberly, & Tiana Bellamy traveled with students to Roseville Area High School in Roseville, MN this weekend.

Congratulations to novice debater Joy Meyers, who earned a 5th place speaker award this past Friday! Speaker awards are given to students who earn high points for their argumentation and public speaking skills. “Our novices are excited to actually just go and compete,” says team co-captain Sandy Bolton. “They handled everything with grace and are doing very well.”

We also want to congratulate Sandy Bolton and Zuko Buechler for earning an 8th place team award in the varsity division! Competition was tough, and they surpassed students from teams like Edina, Eagan, Wayzata, Rosemount, and St. Croix Preparatory Academy. We’re proud of their competitive success and grateful for their leadership with the team’s youngest students!

You just have to remember to go to smile.amazon.com instead of Amazon…..same merchandise, same prices, same service. Thank YOU!

Shop for everyone on your gift list this holiday at http://smile.amazon.com/ch/41-1927097    and Amazon donates to Minnesota Theodore Roosevelt High School Foundation.
