. Summer Fitness For Life/Health
- Registration opens on Tuesday, May 28th at this link: https://sites.google.com/mpls.k12.mn.us/mps-online-school/students/9-12/summer-health-fitness-for-life (more program details at that link, too)
- Classes run Monday, June 17th – Friday, July 12th, 2024
- Registration is open to incoming 9-12th graders; spots are given in order of seniority.
- Students may only register for ONE quarter of one of the classes, they cannot take FFL and Health simultaneously due to the accelerated pace of the class.
- If students/families have questions about traveling accommodations, if the class is a good fit, etc. please direct them to reach out to the teacher directly at Tamara.Cowan@mpls.k12.mn.us
We are getting ready for Copa Colectiva on June 1st, 9AM-2AM! Download free bus passes to Copa and earn points toward winning the COPA for your school by signing up to volunteer, perform or sell your own food/ drink/ product at www.colectivabilingue.org/copa The last organizing meeting is on 5/30, 8 PM (link below).



Are you a science teacher, air quality enthusiast or school administrator? Join us on May 30th at 7:30 PM on zoom right before our 8 PM Copa planning call to help us make a big decision on a grant that would dramatically scale our climate action impact and organizational capacity!

We are seeking Colectiva board members for next year. We have positions and STIPENDS$$ for educators, parents, and secondary students. Email colectivabilingue@gmail.com and plan to come to our June 8th board meeting, 8:30-10AM if you are interested!

WHAT'S GOING ON AT SCHOOL
🐻⚽️ Teddies Eliseo Sanchez & Lydia Martin signed their contracts & got their uniforms for the MLS United Unified soccer team! Catch their first game at Allianz on Sat, June 1st (MNUFC Unified takes on the Kansas City Unified team following the MNUFC / Kansas City match). Tickets available at mnufc.com/seatgeek.
Mariah Artis, 10th grader, was selected to present her IB Personal Project at the Minnesota Association of International Baccalaureate World Schools on Wednesday, May 22.  

The IB Personal Project consists of a process, a product, and a report that students work on throughout 10th grade. Students can choose any topic they want, and Mariah chose to paint a portrait of principal Christian Ledesma because "He is a really nice guy. A good guy."
