Dear parents,
We look forward to seeing you this week for Parent Teacher conferences. It’s always an important part of our relationship as a community to meet and ensure that we are working together to help our students grow academically, socially and spiritually. We appreciate being your partner in the education of our most valuable blessings; our children! Here are some quick tips for the Parent Teacher conferences.
Ask Important Questions. Don’t be afraid to engage in a frank conversation with your child’s teacher. Your goal is to develop an action plan for your child’s success at school. Good questions to ask the teacher include:
- What are my child’s strengths and weaknesses?
- How does my child get along with classmates?
- Is my child working up to her ability? Where could she use improvement?
- What can we do at home to support what you are doing in the classroom?
Stay in touch with your child’s teacher throughout the year through e-mail or scheduled meetings.
When teachers and parents work together, we can help our students have a successful school year and reach their full potential.

Our local Community Food Bank is in need of some donations. Please help us fill their shelves for our brothers and sisters in need. Our faith speaks of being of service to others. Christian service is a central tenet of the Catholic faith and therefore at the core of a faith-based education which means tying the concept of service to scripture and a greater lesson. We are always talking about
being compassionate towards others and this is a way to put our faith into action. We will take donations until October 31

The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'
