The new incoming Dean of Bradford, the Revd Andy Bowerman, has been introduced to figures from across the city and beyond at an informal meet and greet at the Cathedral. Revd Andy was welcomed at an event attended by the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, the Lord Mayor of Bradford, leaders from various faith groups from across the city, and more. Read more here

Please pray for Tonga, urges the Bishop of Ripon, following the huge volcanic eruption which has hit the small island nation. Up to 80,000 people are affected after Tonga and other Pacific Islands suffered tsunamis and were covered in ash, also losing power supplies and communication. Read more here

Five churches in rural Yorkshire have been researching how to achieve the Church of England's target to be net carbon zero by 2030, and will be sharing their findings at an upcoming webinar. Hosted by the diocese, the webinar will offer the opportunity for other churches to learn more about the project and how these churches set about it. Read more here

The three cathedrals of the Diocese of Leeds have joined forces to produce a specially streamed on-line Commemoration for Holocaust Memorial Day. ‘Hosted’ by Wakefield Cathedral, it will include an introduction by Bishop Nick to the theme for this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day, ‘Be the light in the darkness’.
