An Update on our Friends in Eastern Kentucky

Bethlehem is Collecting Donations for Flood Relief

We are blessed to have continued relationships with friends in Eastern KY who are suffering from the recent flooding.  As you've heard in the video above, we are collecting financial donations to send to Shoulder Blade Baptist Church who will distribute to those in need in the area.  If you are interested in donating, please put Kentucky Flood Relief in the memo field of your check.

Mission Trip September 11-17

Serving Flood Victims in North Carolina

Hey Bethlehem! - It is time to be Outward Bound again on a VIM (Volunteers in Mission) trip. It has been nearly 3 years since we have traveled for a domestic trip and 2 ½ since the BUMC PR Mission team slipped back to the mainland from Puerto Rico just before COVID shut down everything! Last August, Tropical Storm Fred went through Western North Carolina with flash flooding leaving 6 dead and countless homes devastated in Haywood County, specifically Canton and Cruso, just west of Ashville. The trip is planned for September 11-17, with travel on Sunday and Saturday and work Monday through Friday. We don’t know specifically what our assigned work will be except rebuilding of damaged homes. At this point we have confirmation for a team of 12 and hope that they will allow additional people if there are sufficient work projects to keep us busy. Wonderful Wednesdays Ministry starts September 7

Everyone young and old is invited to join in 12 weeks of fun, fellowship, discussion, and study. Enjoy a light meal (voluntary donation) served promptly at 5:50 PM, followed by music worship

and small group classes for adults and children beginning at 6:30 and ending at 8PM. Nursery provided.  To learn about our class offerings for all ages, just click the button below.  You can register online as well!  Hope to see you on Wednesdays!
