A Thrill of Hope –
The Christmas Story in Word and Art
Advent study facilitated by John Wohlgemuth

This study will be Sunday mornings from 11/28/2021 to 12/26/2021 (5 weeks) at 9:45 am. Meeting room TBD.

The Christmas Story is probably the greatest story of hope ever told, yet the Bible tells the whole story in just a few verses without detail. Much of the joy and hope from Christmas comes from the art created through the ages to embellish the Christmas Story and its hope for our lives.

This study will use the DVD and discussion guide from the Candler School of Theology. There will be no text or assigned reading. Additional material on their favorite Christmas art will be provided by the facilitator and the participants.
See you there!
Thank you, Gleaners and Volunteers!
Thank you to the Gleaners for coordinating the potato drop on Sunday, November 21, and to all volunteers who helped unload, bag, and deliver potatoes to local food pantries. There was a good group of volunteers from Bethlehem who were able to make it and join TEP and others from the community. Jane Winters, executive director of Lake Christian Ministries, has extended
a big Thank You on behalf of the food pantries in the area!
Because of this effort, neighbors at LCM are able to pick up
bags of potatoes for Thanksgiving!
Thanks to all for participating!!
