We got another good report on dad. Praise God! Thank you so much for your faithful prayers!!
He’s been on his back for almost 24 hours!! His blood oxygen is up to 93% and the machine is set at 70. It is still at a very high pressure. He has been weaned off blood pressure meds and they will reinsert his feeding tube and begin feeding him small amounts again. There has been no sign of blood from the repaired ulcer and at this point it doesn’t look like he will need another transfusion.
The doctor plans to call with an update today (we usually talk with a nurse).
No changes this afternoon. Dad is still on his back. (That's great!)
The doctor warns that there are a lot of things that can go wrong. We're going to focus on the positive.
Mom seemed to have more energy today. Her goal for tomorrow is to get dressed!!
