Hi, friends!

It’s fall break here at MOMAC, and we’re taking a little pause before a busy, creative stretch at the studio. To our students and families, we hope you’re enjoying your week off! And to everyone following along, here’s a little of what’s happening and what’s ahead.

Looking ahead to spring

Spring class registration is open, and we’d love to see familiar faces and welcome some new ones, too! If you’ve been thinking about joining us—or know a friend who might enjoy time at the studio—take a look at the classes and pass the information along. Register by Saturday, November 7, to take advantage of our early registration discount!

Students can take more than one class per semester, so there’s room to explore another interest! We also offer a discount for multiple classes, whether they’re for one person or spread across your family.

A little studio news

Our entryway art gallery is coming together! We’re putting on the finishing touches and looking forward to filling it with artwork. Next time you’re in, take a moment to look around and enjoy what’s new.

We’re also making small but meaningful improvements to our website and registration process, with registration updates beginning with summer camp. If you run into trouble or can’t find something, please let us know. Your feedback helps!

Come celebrate with us

Our student art show is December 13 from 2–4 p.m., and we’d love to see you there! It’s one of our most anticipated events of the year—a chance to enjoy the students’ artwork, celebrate their hard work, and visit over food and refreshments. Everyone is welcome, whether you have a student enrolled or simply enjoy being part of our studio community. Keep an eye out for an invitation from us in late November!


For our current students and families

A few dates to keep handy:

• November 7: Last day for early registration discount.

• November 21 & December 5: Saturday makeup days for students who need extra time to finish their art show projects

• November 25–27: Thanksgiving break, Wednesday–Friday

• December 13: Fall semester art show from 2-4 p.m.

• December 18: Last day of fall semester


Remember, we follow the Johnson City school system for breaks and weather-related closures, especially as winter weather approaches.
