1,000 Acts of Kindness

Two weeks ago, we celebrated the 100th Day of School for the 2018-2019 school year. According to 5th grade's calculations, the 100th day of school marked their 1,000th day of school over their lifetime. In honor of 1,000 days, 5th grade challenged the entire lower school to complete 1,000 acts of kindness before February 28th.

The lower school hallway is decorated with names and a short description of different acts of kindness the students have completed. Each grade has a different color heart that is being used to fill the wall. There is a large variety of acts including cleaning trash cans, sharing candy, helping Mom & Dad at home, holding the door open for a teacher, etc.
Box Tops for Lollipops
Any student who turns in one sheet of Box Tops will get a lollipop from the jar at Ms. Mona's desk! Money raised from Box Tops allows PTO to schedule a variety of enrichment activities and buy supplies for our teachers.

If you are a friend of Ridgecroft, you can still collect Box Tops and mail them to school!  It's easy to find Box Tops and you probably have some in your house right now!  Each Box Top is worth 10¢ and they add up fast. Here's a long list of different products that support Box Tops for Education.
