Due to the robust build quality of this mug, archeologists are predicting future civilizations will see this vessel as a turning point in human history. Grab your piece of history by pledging to our Stewardship Campaign by the end of the year! We are searching for just a few more pledges to reach our goal of 45 households!

The Journey Begins – Again

The Journey, sponsored by the United Methodist Church in Madison, and designed to provide support to persons dealing with issues related to Alzheimer’s/Dementia, was brought to a standstill when COVID arrived.

Now that times have changed, The Journey begins once more. Led by Vic Schumacher Ed.D, the initial meeting will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon in the church library. Subsequent meeting dates will be established at the initial meeting. Ample parking is available in the church parking lot.

If interested, please call the United Methodist Church office at 973-377-1231 between 9:30 and 4:00.

We have a smart, reliable Drew Student who is looking for affordable housing in town. Do you or someone you know have a spare room for rent? If so, contact the church office to set up a meeting with the student.

Join us for food and fellowship on Thursdays at 7am

We'll be meeting at the Nautilus Diner

Oikos returns on Sunday, January 22nd at 4pm. See you there!

Prayer Gathering

The prayer gathering will be on hiatus during the month of December. Please rejoin us in 2023!

Please sign up to read Scripture or the Call to Worship during our services.

Ushers are responsible for greeting people and handing out bulletins, passing out the offering and guiding people to communion on the first Sunday of the month.

Have you been looking for a way to be more involved at the church? We're looking for volunteers to help us with photography, our sound room, and think about how to reach people through social media. No experience needed! Reach out to Rory Murphy or Pastor Daekyung if you're interested!

Crafting our Financial Future

We are looking for a dedicated member of our church to step up and help us by chairing the finance team for the next 12 months. If you or someone you know has a background in finance or strategic planning, please contact Pastor Mark.

UMC: Who We Are & What We Believe

The United Methodist Church is a worldwide connection - we are the person next door, the church on the other side of the country, and the worshiping community across the globe. We are more than 12 million members in Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States. Together, we share a legacy of living as disciples of Jesus Christ, sharing God's love both in what we say and how we serve our neighbors.

We are present in more than 100 countries, speaking many languages and representing diverse cultures, but our 43,000 local congregations all share:

  • A 238-year, history that has been hope, healing and salvation for millions,
  • A mission and ministry that is heart inspired and hands on,
  • A commitment to show up when there is a disaster and pray for one another in our daily challenges,
  • And a passion for following Jesus through worship, prayer, service and the study of Scripture.
