New Worship Series: To Be Or Not To Be The Church:

Church is not a place you go, it’s something you are and something you do. Encounters with Jesus change people, not just for a moment, but by transforming us into something new. But we are not new by ourselves! We become new as part of a community, the church, held together and sent out by the Holy Spirit to introduce more people to the transformative Jesus! To be the church is to do God’s mission in the world.

Sunday, May 15th will be Domingos’ final day with us. We will hold an extended coffee hour to thank him for his presence and leadership this year. Don't miss it!

Wildflower Garden planting this Sunday!

Our youth and anyone who is interested will be planting in our Native wildflower garden this Sunday the 15th around 11:30. Dan Meharg raised these seeds over the winter, and they have been tended here at the church. Dress for mess and bring your planting tools!

LUNCHEON HONORING PASTOR KATE - Sunday, May 22nd

Please join us for a luncheon event to thank Pastor Kate for her leadership and to wish her well as she begins the next chapter of her faith journey. Food and drink will be provided. Please reach out to Lisa in the office if you are interested in bringing food or assisting with the clean-up. Depending on the weather, the luncheon will be held outside or in Fellowship Hall.

LOVE OFFERING FOR PASTOR KATE

We will be collecting a Love Offering for Pastor Kate to help show our appreciation for all she has done. Please be sure to note "Pastor Kate Love Offering" when making your donation by check, or on our website.

PASTOR KATE'S FINAL WORSHIP SERVICE - Sunday June 5th

Please join us as Pastor Kate leads her final worship service. This is also Confirmation Sunday. It's fitting that one of Pastor Kate's final acts will be to preside over the confirmation class as they commit to a life of serving Christ.

REV. MARK SCHOL'S FIRST WORSHIP SERVICE - Sunday, July 3rd

Please join us to hear Pastor Mark preach his first sermon to our congregation. Since this is a holiday weekend, we decided to postpone the luncheon to welcome Pastor Mark and his family until Rally Sunday. However, we are planning to have an expanded coffee hour so those in attendance will have an opportunity to gather and get to know Pastor Mark and his family.

SMALL GROUP MEETINGS WITH PASTOR MARK

Starting in July, there will be a number of small group meetings so members can continue to get to know Pastor Mark. Stay tuned for more information about hosting and/or attending these meetings.

Free, one pool table to someone who will come and get it. If interested, call Vic Schumacher at 862-324-4275 for additional information.
