Gearing up for a New Semester - Are YOU Ready?

As summer draws to a close, the campus is buzzing with anticipation for the start of the Fall 2025 semester. Faculty and staff across the campus are coming together to welcome new and returning students and build on the successes of the past year.

The upcoming semester promises new opportunities for learning, growth, and collaboration. Let's make Fall 2025 the most impactful semester yet.

Shred-It Available August 8

A shredding service will be at Central Campus on Friday, August 8, to pick up documents for shredding.

If you have items to shred, please deliver them to Central Campus by Wednesday, August 6th, as we need to provide a box count to the shredding company before they arrive. The drop location will be in the rear part of room 402.

All documents must be boxed (no bags or loose documents). For any questions, please email Darlene Thacker.

Monday, August 18 – Health Sciences Department meetings

Tuesday, August 19 – All College meeting 9 - 10 a.m., campus luncheon 12-1 p.m., plan on general campus meetings 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on this day

Wednesday, August 20 - Some general campus meetings on this day and faculty division meetings. Again, plan on meetings between 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on this day

Thursday, August 21 - There are some general campus meetings on this day. Please plan on meetings between 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on this day

Friday, August 22 – Faculty Senate meeting at 9 a.m., SSEA meeting at 10:30 a.m., ITC meeting at 12:30 p.m.

*Saturday, August 23 – The Central Campus will be open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. to help students with advising, admissions, records, financial aid, learning services, and accessibility services.

New Student Orientation

In-person orientation for new students who are beginning this fall will be held from 5-8 p.m. on the following days:

Wednesday, August 20 @ Central Campus
Thursday, August 21 @ Brown County Location

Walk-A-50 Challenge Will Happen

The Communications Team has not forgotten about the Walk-A-50, 3K Challenge, originally planned for April. IT WILL HAPPEN!

Once the weather stabilizes and the forecast calls for some consistent days of nice weather (no rain coupled with a heat index below 90 degrees), we will pick the date and notify the college community.

So, stay tuned and get your walking shoes ready!

2025-26 Deep Data Dive Schedule

Continuing the College's strategic priority of Relevance and Excellence and the related goal of promoting data transparency, the 2025-2026 Deep Data Dive Series schedule is nearing completion and will be shared out soon.

As in past series, these presentations are designed to help ALL members of the college community, regardless of one’s role, to connect with important data. Essentially, it’s an invitation for all to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the inputs and outputs that keep the College running.

Each topic will be covered in about 45 minutes. Please watch for an email with all the details and plan to join in for the topics that interest you or the entire series.
