Muzeo presents 'I Am An American'
World War II was an iconic moment in our nation's history, and Anaheim was influenced by this time as well.

Learn all about the Japanese American experience in "I am an American," a new exhibit coming to Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center.

In partnership with the Anaheim Public Library, "I Am an American" presents the story of courage and determination of Japanese American pioneers and their descendants before and after the war.

Anaheim became a center for Japanese American culture and religion after the war, with many families coming here to rebuild.

This 5,000-square-foot exhibit will feature personal testimonials, artifacts and memorabilia, as well as give a first-hand look at the Poston, Arizona incarceration camp experience that devastated those in Anaheim and Orange County from 1942 to 1945.

Come see this exhibit Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center from Aug. 25 through Nov. 13.

Ditch your Turf

Grass is one of the most water-intensive plants in your landscape. Its high water use and frequent maintenance make it an expensive landscape option. By replacing grass with a more sustainable option, you could save on your water bill.
Anaheim Public Utilities, in partnership with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s SoCal Water$mart program, offers a rebate of $2 per square foot for up to 50,000 square feet of converted grass area.
