Give a Hand, Lend a Glove

This November, SSCC is partnering with the Liberty Lions Club for its annual collection activity.

The goal is to collect 175 pairs of gloves to support those in need. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to reaching our goal and spreading warmth throughout our community.

A donation bin in the Central Campus lobby will be available through Friday, Nov. 20th—folks at the Mt. Orab campus who wish to participate can turn in their donations to Amanda Lewis or Peggy Chalker. Questions can be directed to Elizabeth Burkard at eburkard@sscc.edu.

Bits & Pieces

Don't forget to update your contact information in SSCC Alerts. With the weather changing, you will want to make sure you receive notifications about campus delays and snow closures.

Notifications will be distributed via our web page, social media accounts, and the Southern State Alert System. Announcements will not be made via television or radio. Please remember to refrain from coming to campus for weather-related closures. Everyone’s cooperation will enhance personal safety. It also assists our maintenance personnel immensely when they can clear walks, drives, and parking lots without obstacles.

Holiday Closure Reminder

All campuses will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day, and Wednesday, November 25, through Saturday, November 28, for Thanksgiving.
