New Employee Training Requirement - Beginning in October
On Monday, October 2, the College's Human Resources (HR) Department will launch a series of online employee training modules. All employees are required to complete the training.
The training modules can be accessed by logging into the Dayforce Learning Platform (MyEconnect).
The program will consist of a series of modules covering a variety of topics that are crucial to your role at Southern State Community College. These modules will be available for completion over the course of two (2) weeks.
The training modules will include the following:
1) Policy and Information Manuel Acknowledgements
- Anti-Discrimination, Anti-Bullying, and Anti-Harassment Policy – Section 3.5
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) – Section 3.7
- Smoke-Free Workplace Policy – Section 3.11
2) Drug and Alcohol Policy – Section 3.10
Employees who were not in attendance at Opening Week will also receive the 2023 Title IX Training module to complete.
Please ensure that all required training modules are completed by Friday, October 13, 2023. This deadline is set to allow ample time for you to work through the material at your own pace.
Upon successful completion of all required modules, you will receive a Certification of Completion.
Some of the modules will require you to sign your name attesting that you have read and understand the specific material.
