El Paso Marathon

For the third year in a row, the El Paso Marathon went through the historic Mission Valley! We had so much fun passing out water and cheering on the runners again this year! It takes a lot of courage and tenacity to keep going until the end! Congratulations to all of the participants!

50th Anniversary of the County’s Senior Nutrition Meal Program

This month we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the County’s Senior Nutrition Meal Program. For the past 50 years, this program has provided meals to countless seniors throughout El Paso County. The program started at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and so it was very fitting to celebrate this special occasion at Sacred Heart with the amazing Father Rafael Garcia!

Thank you to everyone who took time and attended the renaming event held at Fabens High School. The event was to help choose a new name for 5th Street and show off our Fabens Wildcat pride! A very special thank you to Dr. Aguayo, Superintendent Torres, Fabens ISD President Gonzales, and all of the staff and students of Fabens High School for hosting us and providing the awesome entertainment! Keep an eye out for the official unveiling of the new street signs in the Spring!

Visiting Precinct #3

Horizon View Estates

Thank you to all of the residents of the Horizon View Estates who participated in February's meeting to choose the amenities for the new Milagro Park! The new park will have multi-use sport courts, a sports field, a pavilion for community meetings, walk and bike trails and exercise equipment! And thank you to ESD#1 for letting us use their meeting room!
