Horizon View Estates Park

I was so happy to have been able to share the wonderful news with the Horizon View Estates community that the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has approved a grant of $1.5 million to the County of El Paso for the building of a regional park in their neighborhood!

Ysleta del Sur Pueblo's Education Library Center

A special thanks to City of Socorro City Representative Rudy Cruz and former Lt. Governor Chris Gomez for giving me a tour of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo’s Education Library Center. With the help of AYUDA Inc. we were also to deliver more Cowtown boots to more of our community’s children!

All Elite Wrestling

I was so excited to have been able to welcome All Elite Wrestling star Vickie Guerrero back home to El Paso! Vickie grew up in Horizon and graduated from Clint High School. She is an incredible ambassador for our community! It was wonderful to see all of the AEW stars in action while they performed at the County Coliseum!!!

The El Paso Marathon

I am so proud that the route for the El Paso Marathon began in San Elizario and went through Socorro and Ysleta on its way to the County Coliseum once again this year! It was exciting to cheer on the runners and hand them water as they ran by my house!

Texas Chess Association Region 4 Scholastic Chess Championship

I would like to thank Clint High School for hosting this year's Texas Chess Association Region 4 Scholastic Chess Championship. The participants did great and had a lot of fun! Thank you to the organizers, the coaches and all of the parents who attended to cheer the players on!

Hospitals of Providence Eastlake Campus

I am so excited to welcome the new Hospitals of Providence Eastlake Campus to Pct. 3! This initial $15 million investment will help expand access to healthcare in our precinct, which is the fastest growing area in El Paso County!

Kids & Kows & More Expo

The Kids & Kows & More Expo took place at the County Coliseum in February where over 3,200 kids learned about the importance of agriculture and farming. Kids were able to see how cows are milked, pecans are shelled and cotton is ginned right here in our County! Thank you to County Extension Agent Denise Rodriguez and Sandra Pierce from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and all of the awesome volunteers that help put this program together every year!

Pledge of Allegiance

Please help us applaud all of the students who recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of our weekly Commissioners Court meetings. You make us very proud!

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!
