Honored by the El Paso Young Democrats
I am so incredibly humbled to have been presented with a Lifetime Membership Proclamation from the El Paso Young Democrats at their monthly meeting! It means so much to me to be recognized by an organization that does so much for our community and whose members are our next generation of leaders!
El Pasoans Fighting Hunger’s MLK Day of Service Event
It was a truly heartwarming experience to have participated in El Pasoans Fighting Hunger’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service event with my two favorite volunteers, my daughters Abigail and Rebekah! I can’t think of a better way to honor Dr. King’s memory and am incredibly thankful to all of the volunteers that came out to help on this special day!
"Continuing the Legacy of Korean War Veterans"
What an honor to have attended the "Continuing the Legacy of Korean War Veterans" memorial event! Korean War veterans are heroes and we must always honor their memory and sacrifices. The County Commissioners Court unanimously passed a resolution in support of the Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway and is contributing funds for the cost of the new highway signage.
El Paso County’s Emergency Services District #2
I would like to congratulate the El Paso County’s Emergency Services District #2 on the grand opening of their new Board Room, where the ESD Commissioners will conduct their public meetings. The ESD facility in Fabens is a wonderful location for the ESD’s headquarters and will allow the ESD to provide the best service possible to our community!
Visiting Precinct #3
An entire day was spent traveling throughout Precinct 3, visiting many of our currently pending projects. There is so much happening this year, including connecting more neighborhoods to water and wastewater, improving the Fabens Airport, and widening and improving major roadways to alleviate traffic. Thank you to the County’s Public Works staff for all of their tremendous efforts on these projects and to our community partners like the Lower Valley Water District for their continued collaboration!
I was truly honored to have attended the ESC19 Head Start Naturezeum ribbon-cutting in Fabens! The facility is beautiful and our children will be able to learn so much about our community, environment and culture! A special thanks Dr. Aguirre and Board Members Joe Limon, Fred Sanchez and Kathy Becker for inviting me to this wonderful celebration!
Pledge of Allegiance at Commissioners Court
Help us applaud the students who recite the Pledge of Allegiance on Monday mornings at the start of our weekly Commissioners Court meetings. You make us very proud! Thank you!
