Fall Semester in Full Swing

With a little over a week of classes underway, are you curious as to how many students are actually coming back to campus? These numbers may surprise you:

  1. 43% - Online courses
  2. 41.5% - Face-to-face classes
  3. 12.5% - Hybrid courses
  4. 3% - Virtual

Average class sizes remain at approximately 20 students in each for both online and virtual learning. Face-to-face and hybrid learning formats are averaging 13 students in each class.

In addition to COVID-19, the monkeypox virus is an emerging concern. Monkeypox is a rare disease caused by infection with the monkeypox virus. Monkeypox virus is part of the same family of viruses as variola virus, the virus that causes smallpox. Monkeypox symptoms are similar to smallpox symptoms, but milder, and monkeypox is rarely fatal.

The College will be offering FREE professional headshots. Local photographer Emmy Woods will be set up in the Community Room at Brown Co. Campus on Mon., Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and again in Room 187 at Central Campus on Tues., Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Reservations are not required.
