Wigton leaves district in capable hands with a legacy as coach, teacher and mentor
In a career that has lasted more than 20 years at Lancaster City Schools, Steve Wigton has touched many lives.

Serving in a variety of roles, from coach, teacher, administrator and superintendent, one of his biggest roles was mentor.

He's retiring from the district this year, leaving a legacy of financial stability for the district and an example of engaging with staff and students throughout the district.

2021 Lancaster High School Summer School
Registration for 2021 High School Summer School for grades 9-12 is open! It's free of charge to all Lancaster City Schools students and will be held in-person at Lancaster High School on 1312 Granville Pike. Students from outside the district should contact LHS for availability and fee information. Deadline to register is June 14.
