The Lancaster boys' basketball team have been a pleasure to watch this season. This group of players have shown our community a season that hasn't been seen in many years - one full of heart, determination and chemistry, which ultimately lead them to 11 game wins. That is the most wins the Golden Gales have seen since 2008.
With a goal of changing the perception of Lancaster basketball, this group of seniors, led by Cameron Roudabush and Blake Snezik, feel confident they have accomplished that this year.
“Our whole senior group talked about how much we wanted to come in this year and change the narrative of this program because it has struggled for so many years,” Roudabush said. “We knew we had great team chemistry and we really enjoyed playing with each other. We just wanted to prove to people that we could win and gain some respect for the program, and I think we’ve done that. We’ve done that as a group.
