Thoughts from DS Olivia

This month we have been featuring things to be grateful for on the district on the Facebook page. It has been so fun to collect stories and pictures, to highlight and celebrate, and to be mindful of all that God is doing in our lives! We serve a good God.

As you are gathering with family, sharing food with others, and contemplating what you are grateful for, add the district, our churches, and our denomination to the list. We are blessed to be a part of God's family! I'm thankful for you. Like the apostle Paul wrote to the church in Philippi, "I thank my God for you every time I think of you; and every time I pray for you all, I pray with joy because of the way in which you have helped me in the work of the gospel from the very first day until now. And so I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus. You are always in my heart! And so it is only right for me to feel as I do about you."

If you are interested in participating in the Creative Preaching Co-Op we would love to have you join! This is a weekly gathering where you can share ideas and resources, learn from each other, and build better relationships with other pastors.

We will meet to talk about broad Advent ideas on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 7:00 pm via Zoom. That evening we will determine the best day for the Preaching Co-Op! Hope to see you there.

Preview Day at Eastern Nazarene College — December 1, 2023

High School Juniors and Seniors, are you interested in Eastern Nazarene College?!

Join ENC on December 1, 2023 for a day dedicated to showing you all that Eastern Nazarene College has to offer! You will have the opportunity to engage with staff and faculty, enjoy lunch in the dining commons, learn about student life from our current students and tour our beautiful campus - all in one day!

Note: Nazarene Seniors who attend will have their Nazarene Scholarship doubled to $10,000!

Preview Day: Friday, December 1, 2023 at 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM
