A Walking, Talking Book Discussion Group!
The selection for October is   Shelter   , by Jung Yun.   Contact the Library for your copy. Meet by the Boathouse in Verona Park for a 30-minute walk while discussing a great read! Weather permitting. This will be the last meeting of the season.

KNIT FOR A CAUSE
Now Meeting Thursday Nights!
7:00 pm
Knitters, crocheters & sewers are invited to create clothing and accessories. Your hand-crafted items will be donated to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, where poverty levels are staggering.

All skill levels are welcome. Materials will be provided, but donations of yarn are appreciated! Join us for this worthy cause. Meet in the Library.

RELAXATION & STRESS RELEASE
with Meditation

Certified Reiki Practitioner Anne Shields creates a friendly, inviting atmosphere for you to learn techniques of stress management and the attainment of inner calm.

Weekly sessions take place every Thursday in the Ballroom of the Verona Community Center. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and/or blanket.

Pumpkin Painting

Unleash your artistic creativity and paint spooky or funny pumpkins! Space and supplies are limited. Registration is required.
