Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month

Join us in celebrating AAPI Heritage Month this May! This month is dedicated to honoring the cultural heritage of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, which comprise nearly 5% of the U.S. population and are projected to triple to 33 million by 2050.

From Japan to the Philippines, and from China to Samoa, AAPI Heritage Month invites us to explore the diverse backgrounds and experiences of Asian Pacific Americans. It's a time to acknowledge their significant contributions to American society and to embrace the resilience and strength of the AAPI community. To commemorate this special month, SBVC and CHC are hosting a series of events throughout April and May as we celebrate, learn, and work toward a more inclusive and equitable future for all. More
