Many patrons assume things slowdown in our Box Office this time of year, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We have been busy selling subscriptions and a number of Groups have already booked their seats for our 35 th Anniversary Season!

But you don’t have to wait ‘till the snow melts to enjoy great entertainment! Theatre Collingwood's LOVE Cabaret takes place next Monday, February 11! This engaging show features some of Canada’s top singers and musicians. Along with Shealyn Angus, David Ball and Jennifer Walls, you'll be delighted by the performances of Leah Canali, Alexis Gordon, Andrew Prashad, Scott Hurst, Colin Asuncion, Natasha Buckeridge, Robin Claxton, Michael Meusel, Scott Neary and The Asian Riffing Trio! This is actually the 5 th Anniversary of our popular Valentine's fundraiser. We took a year off in 2018 because my daughter was expecting a baby (and my first grandchild)! 
Well, our “Perry” is now almost a year old and we're bringing the LOVE Cabaret back, BIGGER and BETTER than ever. Each performer will entertain you with at least two songs as well as the grand finale. The talent on stage will be incredible and your host, Scott Hurst, is fantastic. This is a fun-for-all show that you don't want to miss. 

Immediately following the cabaret, we are hosting a party at PRIME SEVEN NINE for our RED CARPET VIPs. So be sure to order your RED CARPET tickets to see the show from the best seats and celebrate with the stars! This reception is always so much fun and we are grateful to have this wonderful restaurant on board this year.

In March we’re celebrating International Women’s Day with laugh-out-loud comedy! GIRLS NITE OUT will be especially fun to attend with girlfriends, but we know the fellas will have a great time too! There’s even a pre-show party – ask for details when you call to book your seats for this night of laughs!

ONE STEP AT A TIME in April is the lift you need after a long Canadian winter! This show is a theatrical testimony to the power of faith, love and teamwork, in which a stay at home father learns to balance a career in the arts while raising two daughters and preparing for the birth of a special-needs son. Andrew Prashad shares the journey of caring for Ezra – his family’s remarkable boy. The production is so touching and includes a post-show Talk Back with updates on Ezra and a Meet & Greet. Later in April, for one night only, you’ll be delighted by Dan Needles and Ian Bell in TRUE CONFESSIONS FROM THE NINTH CONCESSION . Needles, who penned the popular Wingfield Farm series is a familiar face to Collingwood audiences. Ian Bell, folksinger, storyteller and founding performer of CBC’s Vinyl Café, joins the prolific humorist to take you on a ramble through small-town Ontario with stories, songs and lots of laughter.

Following a great Summer Theatre Festival, the entertainment continues through fall with SOUL SISTERS in November. Created by Chris McHarge and Colin Stewart, who brought us “Rockin’ All Night” in 2018, this rousing production tells the story of the birth of women’s Soul and R&B music. Soul Sisters features two amazing singers and a top-notch band - Don’t miss it!
